Payment will be accepted in Sterling only. We will validate any credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order is accepted. Once that has been done, we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to the address you provide in your registration/order form. Subject to further validation checks we may choose to make, our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding agreement between us. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We may also submit your personal and order details to the provider of our Card Processing facility and your credit or charge card issuer. We will not be liable for any delays to your order this may cause. This information may be retained by our Card Processing facility for future validation enquires by other companies. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We accept all orders for products and services subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled you may be offered an alternative product, partial shipment or cancellation of the entire order, at your choice. You should check your order as soon as it is delivered and you must inform us of any errors or damage within 48 hours of receipt. Once we accept and dispatch your order it is your responsibility to ensure that the package can be delivered. If your order has not arrived within 15 days of placing it you should check if it is being held at your local Royal Mail Delivery Office (not necessarily your nearest Post Office). Packaging: We try to use enough packaging to protect your goods in transit, but still be environmentally sensitive. Please don’t be surprised if your order is delivered in a recycled outer box. 11 SHIPPING: UK and International Shipping Rates UK Shipping: Free UK shipping is offered to most postcodes via Royal Mail 48 or UPS depending on weights. Royal Mail 24 or 24/48 Tracked and signed services are also available for a small charge. Europe: Shipping costs vary according to weight and destination and start from £3.35 The total weight of all items in the basket, regardless of type, is used to calculate your shipping. This total is updated as your basket content changes. You are able to see your shipping cost calculation in the checkout area before the order is placed. Orders up to 2 kilos Royal Mail or other Courier. Orders 2 – 20 kilos Courier Tracked and Signed. Some European destinations may be subject to a small surcharge. If no shipping method is available, please email for us for a quote. 12. RETURNS We want you to feel confident about shopping with The Chilli Oil Company. If you have a problem, or are unhappy with your purchase, then we will do our best to put the matter right. In the first instance contact: sales@thechillioilcompany.co.uk. You can return any product within 14 days of receipt of your order as long as the container or box is unopened and the item is returned in good, resalable condition. You may only return goods after 14 days with our prior agreement, and you will be refunded less a 20% re-stocking charge. This does not affect your statutory rights – the Distance Selling Regulations allow you to return any order for a full refund within 7 days of receiving them. You must look after the goods and return them to us unopened and in good condition. If items are returned to us because they could not be delivered we will try to contact you to arrange re-delivery. If this is not possible we will refund the value of your purchase, less a 20% re-stocking charge. International Returns: If your item(s) are returned back to us for whatever reason, we will resend the items subject to a redelivery charge (based on size of package and destination). If you decide to not have the goods returned, we will charge a £20 restocking charge (or 15% of the order value if over £100). We will be unable to refund actual delivery costs (these could be over £20). We accept no responsibility if your order is stopped by international customs. 13 LOST ORDERS In order to confirm that an order shipped via post has indeed been lost, we must wait 15 working days before re-sending the order, subject to the discretion of The Chilli Oil Company Ltd. Most lost items are located within the postal system within this period of time. If your item is lost or undelivered, you should contact your local Delivery Office to see if they are holding the order, having already tried unsuccessfully to deliver it to you. Please note that any redirections, due to incorrect delivery addresses, will be subject to a £5.50 charge. This charge is levied by the courier and as such we have to pass this charge on, if it is found that the delivery details were incorrect, or you require your order to be delivered to a new address. 14. PRICES The Chilli Oil Company has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. All prices are in Sterling and include VAT where appropriate. Promotions and prices you see in The Chilli Oil Company advertising and marketing material may not apply to the TheChilliOilCompany.co.uk online store, and vice versa . 15.
